Round and About, Burnham’s community newspaper, has circulated in the area as a print publication since 1979. This website supports that endeavour.

In recent times financing this work has become increasingly difficult and as a result we appealed to our supporters for help in securing our future.

We are delighted to be able to thank those groups and individuals who have given grants and made donations which will help us through the year. (see list of supporters below)

Founded by a committee of villagers, Round And About was created ‘to inform and entertain, to contribute to and comment on the development of a truly united community’.

The non-commercial publication has evolved in looks and content but its principles remain the same after more than 45 years and 270 plus issues. We remain a community newspaper for villagers to use. We now circulate more than 8,500 copies six times a year both door-to-door and in the library, health centre and shops including Sainsbury’s in Taplow. The addition of a website gives a wider audience to our contributors and advertisers.
